The park was officially opened July 14, 2009.  It is located south of the trail between mile 135.5 and 136 on the northern branch of the Lake Wobegon Trail 5 miles north of Albany and 4 mile south of Holdingford. It is located about a half mile south of the Lake Wobegon Trail on County Road 10 north of Albany.  It is a beautiful park with about 40 acres of rolling hills, woods  and wetlands.  Two Rivers Lake is a great fishing lake for walleyes, northerns, crappies, sunfish and bass and many times you will be able to see loons and pelicans on the lake.  There is a public access for boats located just north of the County Park about a quarter mile.

The park has limited facilities however it does have a hand pump for fresh water and includes a shelter and non flushable toilets.  It has access to Two Rivers Lake and has a fishing pier.  It has a large parking area and hiking trails to take you to the fishing pier.  There are several camp sites available for tent camping.  The shelter can be reserved for events or family activities. It does not have electicity available on site.

Melrose

This park is a couple of blocks north of the Trail. There are no reservations, it’s first come-first serve. There are both tent sites and camping sites available. There are 12 camping sites available, with 8 of those sites having both water and electricity. These sites are $13.00/day. The tent sites are $7.00/day. There is a box with pay envelopes located in the Park near the river. There are restrooms available but no showering facilities.
